When Steve was in 7th grade, he brewed his first beer for a science project. Having found his calling early in life, Steve continued to excel in home brewing and racked up many medals in competitions. He even became a home-brewing judge. Upon meeting Barb and Larry in college, they all became fast friends. After a few years away from the Burgh, they returned. Thirsty to bring people together and build community, they opened Hazel Grove in Hazelwood. Featuring a cozy taproom that draws an eclectic mix of families, conversation flows with laughter and a spirit of community.
