Anchored by a focus on community, the Back Alley team has built out its Dormont brewery to emphasize comfort and fun. A full-size bar and taproom offer guests a friendly brewery experience on the main floor. With plans to expand to the second story in the future, groups will soon find multiple event spaces upstairs a welcome place to gather for food and a wide range of beers.
After over 10 years of homebrewing together and finding themselves in one of the “back alleys” of Dormont, this group of longtime friends decided to take the leap and open a brewery of their own. Dormont seemed a natural location because no other breweries called the area home and the founders’ strong attachment to the local community.
