Church Brew Works offers a unique and historic atmosphere in you guessed it—a converted historic church. Known for Traditional Style German lagers, fruity IPAs, and Eclectic Regional Cuisine with an upscale flair, the church is a must-see for visitors of Pittsburgh. The copper clad brewhouse nests in the former Apse and guests can admire the illumination of stained glass windows and benches made of original pews. The Story

Church Brew Works is the first brewpub in the U.S. to open in a historic turn-of-the-century church, which dates back to 1902 and was once St. John’s the Baptist Church. In 2012, the brewery was named the Great American Beer Festival Brewpub of the year.
